Whale report – Augusta – 8 June

Hi all,

We were a bit shy about heading out today and put the tours off until the afternoon to let the ocean settle – and boy were we rewarded!  We found 2 pods of whales within 500m of the Harbour and one breached in the first 10 minutes of the tour (what to do to fill in the rest of the time??).  We stuck with them and they put on a right show – coming up and checking us out, tail slapping and generally running amok.
We have availability on both tours tomorrow and Friday (the afternoon looks better than the morning on Friday).
Stay Warm!
