Charter fishing is easier – and cost effective!

When you add up the cost of owning a boat (statistics suggest most people use their boat less than 10 times per year), charter fishing proves to be a cost effective option.

A boat capable of travelling long distances offshore will cost more than $50,000.  Then you also require fuel, insurance, a car to tow it, bait, ice, food – and you will need to carefully clean it when you get home in order to protect your investment.

We charge $330 per line in the water and have deliberately kept our prices for children down so they can be included. Our day is fully inclusive – you step on with a jacket and your camera and you can step off the boat with nothing more to do than look after your catch and show off your photos.  Ten trips per year with us will be far more cost effective than taking out your own boat – and probably more productive!

Also remember – a cheaper charter is not necessarily a better charter – look at what is included in your day and the reputation of the skipper.  Shop around and ask the locals – mention Dean Jensen and most locals will have known him as the top professional fisherman in the area.
