First Humpback Whales sighted in Augusta for 2014 Season

The front runners of the 2014 Northern migration of the Humpback Whales in Western Australia have been sighted in Flinders Bay, Augusta.  Legend Charters will commence Augusta Whale Watching tours next week.  Call us to find out if any further whales have been sighted.

More than 35,000 Humpback Whales will migrate North along the Western Australian coastline this year toward their breeding grounds on the North West Coast.  Flinders Bay is their resting point, last stop before their 2-3,000km journey North.

Southern Right Whales will also call into Flinders Bay to mate and birth.  We see them mainly in late July, August but can see them right through the season.
