We had a fantastic first season down at Augusta over winter this year. The Humpbacks really blew us away – there were up to 400 in the Bay at some stages.
We could be with several pods down on the water and then head up the hill when we got in and watch them from a different point of view. We never get tired of watching their antics.
We didn’t spend a lot of time with the Southern Right Whales over on the far side of Flinders Bay as they were calving and mating and there is no way we want to interfere in that process at all.
Check out these photos taken by a welcome visitor on our boat. Diana owns a whale watching operation in Patagonia and spent a couple of days with us in Augusta. We are looking forward to next year!
