You don’t see that every day!!
I heard a story about an Orca popping up next to a surfer at Point Piquet near Dunsborough last week. It frightened the life out of him when he saw the big fin come up – he thought his days were numbered!!
Aparently there are a heap of Orcas chasing the Humpbacks down around Albany. We haven’t spotted any in Flinders Bay yet but will certainly be watching out for them. This week is shaping up to be great whale watching weather after a couple of nasty days over the weekend. We are looking forward to getting out there – there are an estimated 400 Humpbacks in the Bay at the moment!
